A question you may be asking yourself: How did you come up with the name of the podcast anyway? Well, the above photo provides your answer. By the way, the sweatshirt referenced in the “uncalled for” comment is a Duke University hoodie.
Mike is a veteran podcaster, having produced Sunflower Brew – a political discussion podcast with some drinking involved – and having hosted and produced Winning Side Coaches – a sports discussion podcast. Mike is also the assistant organizer of the Kansas City Podcasting & Social Media Meetup Group.
He is also a freelance videographer with over a decade’s experience that includes independent film, television and web video. He also works part-time as a chess instructor and has a very diverse job history, including jobs as a security officer, a warehouse stocker, and a political candidate.
Mike is a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, KS; Johnson County Community College, also in Overland Park, KS; and the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, MO, from which he holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.
