Conrado!

Conrado Salazar is a Mexican-born chess player living in the Kansas City area. He is also a good friend of the Kansas City Chess Club, and Mike is occasionally asked to drive Conrado to and from his house to the club.

Today’s episode documents such a drive – the last to the club’s old address in Liberty, Missouri. On the way, the drive takes them past the new chess club office in Kansas City North*.

Music:

  • Opening: “Fantasia Fantasia” by Kevin MacLeod
  • Transition 1: “Back on Track” by Kevin MacLeod
  • Transition 2: “Bassa Island Game Loop” by Kevin MacLeod
  • Outro: “Verano Sensual” by Kevin MacLeod

*This is an important distinction for Kansas Citians – “Kansas City North” refers to Kansas City proper north of the Missouri River, while North Kansas City is a suburb enclaved by Kansas City North.
