Fun fact: Mike is both a lapsed Catholic and an Ex-Mormon.

How did that happen? He was raised Catholic, drifted away from the Catholic Church, and – as a senior in high school – was visited by missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (informally known as the Mormon Church or the LDS Church), baptized and confirmed on New Year’s Eve, and given both the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthoods.
However, he eventually left the Church – officially – for a few reasons, and that is the crux of today’s Thoughts episode.

Links to consider:

- Beneficial Financial Group – owned by the LDS Church, for which Mike actually worked less than a week.

- Intro music: “Iron Bacon” by Kevin MacLeod
- Transition music: “Cello Suite 1 in G – Prelude” by Kevin MacLeod
- Outro music: “Saturday’s Church” by Monplaisir
